This blend of 33% Counoise, 29% Grenache, 18% Mourvedre, 16% Cinsault and 4% Syrah is quite dark and brooding, with earthy aromas of crushed stone, tar, dark strawberry and red currant. The palate packs in mulberry, charred berry, roasted lamb and strong pepper spice.
Wine Tasting notes
Gypsy is a light, fresh wine that can be enjoyed the day you bring it home. On the nose there are inviting aromas of black raspberry, black cherry, forest floor, damp earth, baking spices and sandalwood. Flavors of red currant, black cherry, black tea, dark chocolate and red plum can be enjoyed on the palate. The result is a medium-bodied blend that surprises you with a nice, long persistent finish. Pair with blackened salmon, ribs, burgers or pork chops.
