Perfumed in rose garden and earthy compost, this effusively aromatic wine is tightly wound in oak. Yet it's youthful in characteristics of wild strawberry, tea and cardamom, the flavors still waiting to be fully revealed.
Big, ripe, seductive aromas of black cherry, raspberries and red plums make up the core of fruit in this latest ZD Pinot Noir. Subtle notes of vanilla, cinnamon, earth, spice and cedar integrate beautifully with the focused fruit. On the palate, the forward black cherry fruit is framed by lush, silky tannins and an impressively long toasty finish.
