Cloak & Dagger The Conspirator's Reserve Dove Pond Vineyard Paso Robles Syrah 2012 red566-od
The Dove Pond fruit gave us a lot to work with. The small berries, bursting with juice, gave us intense syrah flavors and aromas - black currant, chocolate and licorice. The jet black skins imparted a dense, inky color. We aged the wine in French oak (40% new) adding just a hint of smoky vanilla.
