A dense and flavorful red with berry and plum character and hints of chocolate and sandalwood. Medium to full body and velvety tannins. Drink or hold.
Vivid red in color, the Santa Pia expresses complexity right from its introduction. Intense aromas of ripe fruit balance with the vanilla derived from its time in oak barrels. On the palate, the wine has a very smooth and enveloping texture. Soft tannins make their presence known at the end, leaving a beautiful minerality and persistence in the mouth.
