The 2016 Zinfandel 101 Vineyard is ripe, silky and impeccably balanced. Lavender, plum, chocolate, mint and spice notes are all fused together in a mid-weight, super appealing Zinfandel that oozes character. Hints of rose petal and kirsch add a lovely element of brightness. In 2016, the 101 is especially refined, and one of the many standouts in this stellar range. (Antonio Galloni)
