Connemara Peated is the only peated Irish whiskey on the market. Unlike other Irish whiskeys it is double distilled, not triple distilled, as the folks at Cooley believe that the third distillation removes flavors from the spirit. It is aged in ex-bourbon casks, bottled at 40% alc/vol. It is a winner of many international awards, a definite must try for any serious whiskey enthusiast. Lemony, fresh, light, notes of apple, pear, and creamy malt.
