A true representation of the melding of the grapegrower's art and the winemaker's creativity and imagination, the grapes in this sophisticated and elegant wine are grown on the Jaffe Estate in St. Helena, California. With a vibrant ruby color and a bright cherry red aroma, this wine highlights its red cherry and raspberry components along with notes of spice and minerality. These characteristics are accented by bright acidity, integrated tannin and structure. The elegant, but generous mouth feel exhibits a rich velvety texture that coasts the mouth and lingers on to a long layered finish brilliantly incorporating all of the component elements. As with all Transformations, the breath on the palate exhibits the distinctive character of the vineyard's Merlot and is an extraordinary expression of the blend.
