Bodegas Murviedro was founded in 1927 as the Spanish subsidiary of the Swiss Schenk Group, one of the leading European companies in the wine sector. The company’s philosophy is based on combining the most modern winemaking techniques with grapes from traditional vineyards. The result is wines that meet the highest international quality standards, while maintaining their Spanish character and originality. Bodegas Murviedro, one of the most important wineries in the Region of Valencia, has set up a new strategic plan with the aim of creating a global brand based don its strong international presence and creating a new international sales network. With this in mind, in September 2007 Diego Talavera joined the project as Sales & Marketing Director. The whole team is working on the project of creating a new concept of wines for the winery, including the Denomination of Origin in which Murviedro is present (Valencia, Utiel- Requena, Alicante, Jumilla, Rueda, Rioja, Vinos de la Tierra de Castilla and Cava) from a brand-based outlook and with a medium-term vision of implementing a single brand with several product lines.
