Wine maker notes
Carefully selected grapes are hand-harvested and then macerated for 10-12 days. When the alcoholic and malolactic fermentations are complete, the wine is aged in small French oak barrels for 18 months. After blending the maturation continues in 35 hl oak barrels for 12 months and then in bottle for a further 8-12 months.

Food pairing
It is an excellent accompaniment for roast meat, game, spicy dishes, truffles and mature cheeses such as seasoned provolone, parmigiano or gorgonzola. Serve at 18? C.

Since 1994, Terredora has solely vinified grapes from our private vineyards. This fundamental step was taken to guarantee the highest quality by controlling all aspects of the grape growing cycle fundamental for producing excellent wines. Montefusco, once the capital of the Principality of Ultra, which now part of Irpinia. It is a perfect central hub, as all our vineyards are found in the surrounding area. The state of the art wine cellar is enclosed by the natural landscape of Serra di Montefusco and lies at a height of 650 meters over sea level. It overlooks the D. O. C. and D. O. C. G. wine regions of Irpinia: in Sabato Valley - Fiano di Avellino and Greco di Tufo, and in Calore Valley - Taurasi.
