RIGHT Gin is a Citrus Forward, New Western Style Gin conceived by Lyons Brown. Blended and Made in Sweden by Master Blender Henrik Facile. Each of the eight botanicals used are very carefully sourced for the best character, distilled separately under specific conditions special for that botanical, then blended together to create a very elegant, balanced and unique expression of Gin. RIGHT works exceptionally well in classic Gin cocktails, taken neat, and pairs beautifully with fresh and seasonal flavors. RIGHT Gin is blended and bottled in Malmo, Sweden; the Southern most region of the country, directly across the bridge from Copenhagen, Denmark. 60% of Gin is water, so the selection of this ingredient is critical. Our water comes from Lake Bolmen, near Malmo, a protected source renowned for its arctic purity. We chose it for its “softness” which we believe adds to the flavor profile of our Gin. Appearance: Impecccably clear, sprightly, legs form almost immediately on swirling, which then become sparkling droplets on the side of the glass. Slightly oily appearance to body (sign of quality). First Impression: A much more interesting mélange than the usual suspects. There is of course, juniper, but of a more aromatic and lighter kind than normal. The bitter oranges of the West Indies (with hints of lime) play off against the oily lemons from Sicily, the base notes of bergamot (think Earl Grey tea) , coriander and cardamom provide spicy notes wrapping around the black pepper from Borneo to form a unique bouquet. Taste: Medium-to-light body ,sweetish almost Old Tom Gin-like entry, aromatic blend of spices, citrus and floral scents, mild tingling on the lips and tongue. Nicely done, clean distillation. Slight warming burn on the way down. Lingering finish with floral and citrus notes and the drying bite of the Sarawak pepper leads to a drying finish that cries for more. SCENT & FLAVOR: ORANGE PEEL: Fresh oranges, and orange peel are immediately present. CITRUS: Lemons, limes, even a hint of grapefruit peel. BLACK PEPPER: A distinct note of black peppercorn balances the bright citrus. JUNIPER & HERBS: The classic gin character is present, but well balanced.
