The Gush Etzion Spring River Rose is strawberry pink in color. A bouquet of freshly picked wild strawberries, and raspberries as well as pink grapefruit, with hints of fresh basil. Light to medium-bodied and very crisp, with tart raspberries, cherries and strawberries on the palate, followed by grapefruit and nice earthy minerals as well as lime. Vibrant acidity as well as a hint of intriguing but pleasant saline bitterness on the moderately long and refreshing finish. One of the best and most interesting rosé wines out of Israel.
