The Glenturret Triple Wood Edition features unpeated spirit exclusively matured in three distinctive wood types, Sherry seasoned American oak, Sherry seasoned European oak, and American ex-Bourbon casks. This edition is crafted in small batches at Scotland's oldest operational distillery. Fewer than 60 casks are hand selected for each batch. Official Tasting Notes Aroma - Citrus is full and shows sharpness initially. Polished new oak follows. As this unfolds sweetie notes start to form, bonbons and boiled sweets are soft and the latter sharper. The oak almost moulds around all with hints of cinnamon and lemon cake to finish Taste - Fruity, soft and sweet. Apple and orange followed by cinnamon, toffee and wood spice.
