The second of two extremely mature Linkwoods from The Mackillop's Choice Single Cask series. Aged for 30 years in a single refill Bourbon Barrel before being bottled in 2020 at natural cask strength. Lots of classic Linkwood character here, with a smooth and supple palate complimented by subtle caramel and citrus flavour from the cask. Official Tasting Notes Colour: Golden. Nose: Some toffee sweetness overlying a broad vegetal malt. Palate: Some sweetness of shortbread biscuits, toffee, and some citrus elements. Finish: Waxy and full with some spice.
