A triple distilled Lowland Malt, aged in 1st fill ex-Bourbon casks for about 8 years. Very much along the lines of The Classic and Select in the Auchentoshan range, a very mellow, approachable and easy drinking Malt. Nose: Orange rind, perfumed oak, vanilla and lemon cheesecake. Palate: Soft toffee, vanilla fudge, orange and lemon rind, subtle oak spice. Finish: Aromatic spices, vanilla fudge and some waxy and perfumed citrus.
