A single cask Glendronach aged in Pedro Ximenez and at natural cask strength of 52. 8% this is as rich and sherried as as this distillery can be at 20 years old and is wonderful value for money for a malt so complex with notes of plum pudding, winter spice, dried fruit, waxy orange, dark roasted coffee beans and of course a huge kick of PX sherry. Easily one of the whiskies of the year despite what certain writers may imply, Scotland still make awesome sherry cask malt!
