This single cask release from Allt-a-Bhainne was matured in ex-Bourbon wood, before being finished in a refill Sherry puncheon. Only 643 bottles were produced, bottled at a robust strength of 59. 9% ABV, without chill filtration, and with no added colour. Official Tasting Notes Colour - Burnt amber. Nose - Fruity and floral, with hints of almonds and sweet popcorn, and nutty undertones. Taste - Lots of depth. Honey and caramel, nutty, with cereal notes - crunchy nut cornflakes. Cookies and cream. Finish - Mid-length, creamy, with a spicy finale.
