Michter’s US *1 Kentucky Rye is made from select American rye grain, of which is sheared to maximise the extraction of flavour from the grain. Every bottle comes from a single fire-charred, new American white oak barrel, ensuring the highest quality from every limited batch. Ideal in neat or in cocktails, this rye has notes of citrus, butterscotch and oak. Nose: Menthol, dark chocolate, spicy rye bread dough, charred oak, aromatic spices. Palate: More mint and chocolate with peppery spice, butterscotch, toasted spices and rye bread. Finish: After eight mints, spicy oak and charred citrus.
