A 27 year old Glencadam, one of the less heralded Highland distilleries but well worth a try. Matured in a refill Bourbon barrell and bottled at cask strength. his had a very small out turn of just 124 bottles. Supplier Tasting Notes Aroma - Like a summers picnic; creamy vanilla and peaches sit alongside aromas of apple, pear and marzipan while floral undertones of gorse flower, honeysuckle, and violet mingle together. Taste - Creamy and sweet; butter candies transform into warming aniseed, leading into fresh passion fruit, lychee, and vibrant grapefruit flavours. Finish - Warming pepper leads to lingering chocolate and oak.
