Mars Maltage Cosmo is a blended malt featuring whisky from the little-known Japanese distillery Shinshu, as well as whiskies from undisclosed Scottish distilleries. A rather intriguing expression. Creamy and sweet on the palate. A liquid dessert on pastry with fruit (apricots, banana, mandarin) andspices - nutmeg, cinnamon and black pepper. Caramel and slight tobacco notes. A pleasant finish, mildly drying with a touch of woodsmoke. If Speyside was in Japan, than this whisky would fit right in!
