Limited to just 169 bottles, this cask strength 30 year old whisky from the Glentauchers distillery is part of the Gordon & Macphail 'Connoissuers Choice series. This particular single malt, distilled back in 1990 is aged exclusively in refill American Hogshead casks and bottled at 50. 4% ABV Nose: Heavily citrussy led alongside subtle lemongrass and nutty aromas. Palate: More citrus notes alongside pistachio, sweet marzipan notes and pepper Finish: Light and delicate with lingering orange, almond and poppy seeds
