From Glentauchers distillery, this Speyside single malt is bottled by independent bottler Gordon & Macphail as part of their 'Distillery Labels series. Distilled in 2005, this 14 year old whisky has been aged for its entirety in refill American hogsheads providing a rich, spicy and rewarding whisky Nose: Warming spice with cinnamon and clove marrying well with rich sherried fruit. Sweeter notes such as toffee apple then appear alongside subtle smoke. Palate: Soft and creamy mouth feel with raspberry and orchard fruits alonsgide cracked black pepper Finish: Light and smooth finish with dried red fruits in the background
