Mackmyra Björksav (birch sap) is a Swedish single malt whisky inspired by the long-awaited return of spring. A collaboration with Grythyttan wine, Björksav is made up of whisky aged in ex-Bourbon, oloroso, birch sap wine seasoned and Sweidsh oak casks for a rewarding, floral whisky. Nose: Floral and fruity with spice, vanilla fudge, sandalwood, bich sap wine and sweeter cherry and raisin notes. Palate: Once again, fruit heavy with raisins and orchard fruit alongside toasted oak, vanilla fudge and spicier notes of anise, ginger and white pepper. Finish: Light and spicy to finish with lingering toasted oak and dried fruits.
