From the Single Malts of Scotland series, this Longmorn single malt was distilled in 1997 and aged for more than 22 years in a single hogshead, bottled at cask strength resulting in just 240 bottles. Nose:
Fresh grapefruit and honey alongside herbal and floral notes such as lavender and thyme Palate:
Sweeter notes jump forward on the palate with lemon sherbet and peach alongside spicier clove and nutmeg Finish:
Notes of tart and citrussy preserve produce a lingering finish
