Wine maker notes Baron de Ley Blanco is made from grapes coming fromour vineyards in Rioja Alta, in the western part of the Rioja DOCa. Whereas we have found in Rioja Baja an ideal location to produce modern style red wines or roses, this western Rioja vineyards still offers an ideal growing setup for the indigenous riojan white varieties, with cooler climate and more frequent rains, in general resulting in elegant white wines with good acidity.
