100% Cabernet Sauvignon from the Bartolucci vineyard on Dean York Lane in St. Helena. The fruit was harvested on September 18 through October 8, with an average Brix of 25. 8 degrees. The grapes were pressed off the skins 14 days after crushing and the wine was aged for 19 months in small French oak barrels (50% new wood). Wine maker notes A pure expression of Cabernet with black cherry, plum and raspberry, wrapped in spicy French oak, cocoa and a hint of dried herbs. The mid-palate is broad and lush, while the finish is long, with perfectly structured tannins.
