Producer Sandra Tavares da Silva and Jorge Serodio Borges are oenologists and married with each other. One fine day, they decided to make a wine together and they bought an old Port Wine warehouse, in Vale de Mendiz. Wine & Soul was born and so was Pintas, a garage wine whose name was inspired by their restless pointer. Pintas comes from a single 70 years old vineyard, whose ground features and grape varieties (more than 30) allow them to extract marked and defined terroir wines. With 2. 5 ha of vineyard in 6 ha of ground, Jorge and Sandra set themselves a new challenge: to produce a high quality white wine, something they both consider to be very complex. Guru is the expression of this challenge.
