Bottega Vinaia is an exceptional line of artisan wines designed to demonstrate the optimum potential and reflect the authentic qualities of the terroir in northern Italy’s Trentino region. Originating from a select group of family-owned, single vineyard sites in Trentino’s Valle dei Laghi (Valley of Lakes), this limited-production, estate-bottled range is characterized by the highly expressive aromas and intense flavors that are a hallmark of this region. Wine maker notes After a traditional fermentation, the juice macerates for eight days to extract color and body from the skins. The wine is then refined for a further six months, partly in barriques and partly in large oak casks.
