Matured in a single refill American hogshead, this Single Malt hailing from Miltonduff in one of 196 bottles. An excellent edition to The Private Collection, this Whisky is surprisingly light and refreshing for a 34 year old maturation. Nose: Pineapple and ripe green apple aromas give way to crystallised violets. Lemon and lime zest combine with subtle undertones of watermelon. Palate: Tropical fruit flavours combine with dried banana notes, balanced by Brazil nuts. Grapefruit and baked apple notes develop alongside sweet, dark honey. Finish: A medium-bodied finish with lingering citrus notes.
