From Glendalough Distillery, this Pot Still whiskey is bottled at 43% and is matured exclusively in Irish Oak casks. Sourced from sustainably felled trees from the ancient oak forests from the mountains around the distillery , each bottle is numbered and traceable to each cask and even the tree that ostensibly produced it. The result of this process is a toasted oak and vanilla heavy Irish whiskey balanced by classic pot still spice notes. Nose: Heavily malted and grain notes with ripe red fruits, fudge and vanilla Palate: Honeyed sweetness moving through to spice with clove and white pepper alongside subtle orchard fruits Finish: Short finish with herbal and white grape notes
