A 16 Year Old, Single Cask, Single Malt Whisky from the peated Croftengea from Loch Lomond distillery bottled at cask strength of 56. 4% and one of just 605 bottles. Contrasting aromas of brown sugar, cinnamon, iodine and star anise hit the nose. This expression has an excellent balance with the backdrop of peat softening the fruity influence from the Sherry cask. The finish is long, sweet and smoky.
The Alistair Walker Whisky Company was founded in 2018 and specialises in bottling Single Cask releases of Scotch Single Malt and Single Grain whiskies. The inaugural release of their flagship brand "Infrequent Flyers" was released in July 2019, with the focus being on lesser known distilleries that are of excellent quality, but have never been widely or consistently available. All small batch releases that are bottles at cask strength, with natural colour, and un-chill filtered.
