Distilled at Linkwood in 1991, this Whisky has been matured for an impressive 30 years in a single sherry butt (cask #7268, to be precise). Only 549 bottles were produced, all at natural cask strength. Nose: Sherry aromas give way to lemon peel and a hint of blueberry. Clove spice aromas develop with walnut and brown sugar. Palate: Sweet citrus flavours intertwine with stewed raisins and toasted oak. Morello cherry undertones lead to rich fruitcake and autumnal spices. Finish: Full with lasting spice, along with fruit and a faint herbal edge.
