This Highland Single Malt hails from the Blair Athol Distillery, matured in a first fill Bourbon Hogshead. Bottled at cask strength, only 209 bottles were produced from this vatting. Auld Goonsy says: "This is like a traditional Scottish night out, lively, surprising and no-one wants to go home. " Nose: Sweet grist of the mill, malted barley, floral. Palate: Hint of wood, smooth, easy on the palate, sugary citrus. Finish: Warming fruitcake, subtle spice, mellow.
