This Glenburgie has been aged with exceptional patience. Allowed to develop unique character for forty years, the nose immediately delivers on barley with citrus peels. Then develops to a wonderfully rich, buttery style. The palate is mouth-coatingly thick and moreish - there's vanilla cream with a sweet malty character alongside chocolate shavings and ripe apricots. The long finish reveals more of that creamy caramel depth with a warming spicy quality.
