This fantastic 18 year old AnCnoc is matured for 16 years in 2nd fill American Bourbon barrels and then transferred into 1st fill Oloroso sherry butts for its final 2 years. Great value for money, this has all the classic distillery character - sweet honey, fresh citrus, and a rich, creamy mouthfeel. Colour - Bronzed Amber. Nose - Peach melba, rich toffee, runny honey, buttery chardonnay winey notes, ripe melon,creamy oak, orange fondant chocolate, brown sugar tops on creme brulee. Palate - Orange curd, figs with dark honey, french toast, peach melba, buttery chardonnay, toasted vanilla & cinnamon spice. Finish - Cinnamon danish, fig rolls, peach melba, rich and succulent creamy oak, apricot jam, dark honey on toast, tangarine.
