A truly fascinating spirit, Dr. Squid Gin is handcrafted in Cornwall and made with real squid ink. The neat spirit itself pours out black, and when mixed with tonic turns a vivid shade of pink. Squid Ink is such a powerful ingredient that only a minimal amount is needed, both for the distilling and colour for infusion of the gin. Vanilla was added to the base of the recipe to give a well rounded mouth-feel and sweetness, coupled with sea buckthorn for a tart, fresh fruit finish. This unique gin is presented in a beautifully engraved copper flask, depicting the scenery, wildlife, folklore and history that surrounds the distillery. Free speed pourer included.
