This Single Malt Whisky was distilled at Glengoyne in September 1997 and bottled February 2015. Matured in a single refill hogshead, only 348 bottled were produced from this outrun. Expect fresh, fruity notes of rich apples, cream soda and a hint of pear drops. Nose: Rich apples, juicy pears, fresh cream soda and hints of pear drops. Palate: Sugary sweet with slight oaked spice, ginger and a fresh barley quality.
Finish: Long with darker fruits, hints of cocoa and warm orange peel.
