This is a superbly complex cognac from Hermitage Single Estate. Maturing for 25 years in Limousin oak has imparted a myriad of multifaceted notes that seem to constantly develop with every sip. Nose: Rich notes of vanilla, nutmeg and coffee lead, with citrus undertones of orange with a hint of melon. Palate: The citrus continues on the palate, alongside a hit of spice. This is followed by toasted almonds and kumquat. Finish: Perfectly balanced.
