Description: Per definition is an eau-de-vie (“the water of life”) a spirit distilled from the fermented fruit mood. G. E. Massenez uses only optional, mature, hand-picked fruit. The fruits Moses and then allowed to undergo a limited fermentation. The liquid is then distilled in copper tablers equipped with a special device for creating a particularly slow and refined distillation. The Massenez Eaux-de-devipitate and thus intensifies the fruit character “heart” in the resulting distillate. About 20 pounds of fruit is required to produce a bottle of eau-de-vie. Drufvariet: Gewürztraminer Food savings: Traditionally, Eaux-de-vie is very cold in a brandy snifter after a meal. They can also be replaced by vodka in any mixed drink or can be mixed with club soda or fruit juices to another aperitif. Taste notes: The Gewürztramin brand is one of the only French brandy with controlled appellation. It is a brandy with the strong tastes, with very density and a very developed aroma that very subjectively expresses fruity grain of gewürztramines. It is then considered a high quality brandy.
