Though slightly higher in degree, at a reasonable 13. 6%, the Cailleret is a far finer wine than the Folatieres. It displays a clean, clear, fresh colour with also a pure white fruit on the nose: more style less weight. There is though still adequate weight here, in fact the fruit kicks on to a second level. With attractive acidity mixed in with some rich yellow fruit, this should go the distance.
