This limited edition Springbank Green is one of only 9000 bottles. Bottled at 12 Years Old, matured in ex-Bourbon casks. This limited release is made from 100% organic barley. Nose: Fresh coastal brine and sea salt, lime cordial, coconut sponge cake, feinty/floral, wine gums, wet straw, creamy vanilla oak and freshly cut barley, smoked apple cores. Palate: Key lime pie, fresh and coastal salt/brine like peat smoke, oily mouthfeel leading into white pepper, green apple, some sweetness of vanilla oatmeal on the finish with lingering notes of coconut and salted fudge. A more Ex-Bourbon cask influenced Springbank (as always with natural colour) with lots of zingy salty lime and fresh coastal yet creamy peat.
