One of 331 bottles charged from a refill hogshead (cask #DL15641). This Single Cask Whisky from Mortlach was distilled in 2009 and bottled in 2022. Nose: Coconut gives way to charred oak and a buttery, barley richness. Palate: Oily yet creamy with lots of depth, with notes of allspice and freshly baked bread. Finish: A long finish, marmalade lingers alongside vanilla cream and more barley.
