This soft Highland whisky has been re-racked into a 136 litre Tokaji Gonchi for just shy of 12 months, and the impact on the spirit is profound. Aromas of ripe apricot, wood smoke and sultanas, followed by a luxuriously thick mouth feel and plenty of plum notes. A full-bodied Whisky often gives a long finish, and this is no exception with vanilla pod, peach and some spice appearing alongside. A gloriously full-bodied dram which leaves one wanting for more.
