Matured in a single Sherry cask for 14 years, this truly is a Whisky to be savoured. This GlenAllachie born Single Malt delivers an umami-like experience; robust and savoury with pink peppercorn spice, strong dark chocolate and buttery oak. Tasting Notes: Nose: Oily, leathered horse saddles, chicken stock and freshly made noodle soup. Taste: Pleasantly thick body, almost syrupy. A strong dark chocolate fudge note upfront. Bitter charcoal, buttery oak, and just a smear of gooseberry jam. Finish: Runs a fairly spicy streak, with cinnamon, cloves and cracked pink peppercorns providing a bit of bite and a pleasant bitterness toward the end.
