This Highland Single Malt from Teaninich was filled into a single cask (#712134) in June 2009. Allowed for mature for 12 years, before a finishing period in Oloroso sherry cask wood. Limited to 291 bottles, all of which were bottled at cask strength. Auld Goonsy Says: "This Highland Malt is like meandering through a mature fruit orchard on a cool summer morning, eating warm nutty biscuits coated in fresh honey. " Nose: Lemon cheesecake, softly herbal with a grassy freshness. Palate: Crisp orchard fruits, biscuity notes and nutmeg spiciness. Finish: Orange peel and honeyed malt for a long lasting, warm glow of a finish.
