This wine was originally made in 1995 because a part of the land was well suited to red vines and Donna Nerina Corsini (Giovanni Incisa's mother) wanted to make a red wine to for home consumpion. This became the start of Turlo - an unconventional blend of grapes coming from the territory of the Corbara lake. The vineyards, located around the lake, at different altitudes, take an exceptional advantage from the climate of the lake.
