A punchy yet subtle 12 year old Single Malt, distilled at Glentauchers in 2009. The Whisky was matured in a single cask and bottled at cask strength. This is a delightful Whisky to experience, with notes of sweet vanilla and hazelnut mixed with fresh apple. Nose: Whispers of wood, sweet vanilla and hazelnut mixed with a dance of apple. Palate: A fruity and delicious apple pie with raisins with a drizzle of vanilla. Finish: A distant hint of leather and tobacco with a lovely dry satisfying feel at the finish.
