Aged in American & European Oak. Nose: Straw like with dried apricot, soft cheese on oatmeal biscuits, apple cores, tinned pears in syrup and hints of a coastal breeze. Palate: Quite suprising after the delicate and elegant nose, a full bodied, rich and peppery delivery with fresh barley, buttery oak, melon and ginger spice and a cream cheese note along with classic coastal vibrancy. Finish: Apricot flapjacks, runny honey, ginger, salty citrus and peppery oak. An American oak aged and unpeated offering from Bruichladdich.
