The 100% Islay 12th Edition was matured in 29 bourbon barrels and 6 oloroso sherry butts for a minimum of 8 years. Tasting Notes: Nose: Elegant, sweet peat smoke, followed by waves of citrus and honey, finishing with notes of vanilla and salted caramel. Taste: A Bourbon-driven 100% Islay brings an initial malt-driven profile followed by green fruits; apple and pear. Light spice, raisin and toffee are present towards the finish Finish: Peat smoke returns and remains on the palate. The oily texture of this 100% Islay allows for a creamy profile balanced with toffee and caramelised sugar.
