This exceptional bottling from Benromach was distilled in 1982. It was patiently matured for 39 years in a single first fill burgundy cask, producing an outrun of only 207 bottles. Nose: Seville orange peel complements smooth stewed apples and toffee. Fragrant vanilla notes infuse with soft milk chocolate and mature oak. Palate: Sweet summer berry flavours give way to subtle black pepper and a hint of fresh mint. Citrus fruit combines with faint herbal influences and a touch of aniseed. Finish: A full finish with lingering sweet brown sugar and black cherry.
