Initially matured in a vatting of bourbon hogshead casks, this single malt from Teaninich also enjoyed a finishing period in 1st fill Madeira barriques from Justino's. Having been nurtured for its final 3½ years in these exceptional casks, the Teaninich spirit has developed superb depth and complexity. Nose: Honied malt, fresh apple, mellow nuts. Palate: Dried fruit, floral, hint of butterscotch. Finish: Sweet cereal, lingering baking spices.
